Day 1: Chennai Arrival
Welcome to India! Our representative will receive you at the Chennai International Airport and you will be transferred to the hotel. You can relax this day or visit the nearby Marina beach with and have a delicious dinner at a sea side restaurant. Goodnight's rest at Chennai.

Day 2: Chennai - Mahabalipuram (70kms/2hrs)
After breakfast, take a sightseeing tour to Kapaleeswara Lord Shiva Temple, Parthasarathy Lord Krishna temple, St. George Fort, Government Museum, Theosophical Society and Kalakshetra School of art & dance. After completing the sightseeing, drive to Mahabalipuram for witnessing the unique temple architecture. Evening, check in at the resort and relax in the beach. Day 3: Mahabalipuram - Kanchipuram - Mahabalipuram (70kms/1.5hrs each way)
After a delicious breakfast at the resort, drive towards Kanchipuram to visit the famous silk fabrics, temples built during Dravidian period and do a little shopping. After lunch, drive back to Mahabalipuram to visit Shore Temple, Arjuna's Penance, Five Ratha Temple and Krishna's Butter Ball which are the finest examples of the South Indian temple architecture. Day 4: Mahabalipuram - Pondicherry (100kms/2.5hrs)
After a delightful breakfast, check-out the resort and drive towards Pondicherry for witnessing the French atmosphere. After arriving Pondicherry, check in at the resort and relax for some time. Later visit the Aurobindo Ashram and Auroville founded by Sri Aurobindo Ghose, a Bengali philosopher in the early 20th century. In the evening stroll through the town to experience the local culture. Day 5: Pondicherry - Chidambaram - Gangaikondacholapuram - Kumbhakonam (250kms)
After a yummy breakfast, on the way to Kumbhakonam, stop at Chidambaram, one of the main pilgrimage sites in India, a bustling temple, privately run and dedicated to the dancing Shiva, Nataraja. You will be also visiting an UNESCO protected site, Gangaikondacholapuram, is away from the main tourist route. In the evening, proceed towards Kumbhakonam, check-in at the hotel and have a Goodnight's rest.

Day 6: Kumbhakonam
After breakfast, spend the whole day in visiting the temples around Kumbhakonam and Goodnight's rest at a hotel in Kumbhakonam.

Day 7: Kumbhakonam - Tanjore (35kms/1hr)
Morning after breakfast drive towards Tanjore and check-in at the hotel. Afternoon visit the Brihadeeshwara Temple, the Palace and Art Gallery. You will be also surprised by the artisans making Bronze Statues. Goodnight's rest at Tanjore.

Day 8: Tanjore - Karaikudi (110kms/2.5hrs)
After breakfast, drive to Karaikudi, the land of traditional bankers and traders who built spectacular bungalows and mansions all around this region. On arrival check-in at the traditionally built mansion and relax for some time. After lunch, visit Karaikudi Kanadukathan Palace, Chettinadu Museum and in the evening stroll through the village and have a glimpse of the local life. Goodnight's rest at Karaikudi.

Day 9: Karaikudi - Madurai (120kms/2.5hrs)
Morning, after breakfast, drive to Madurai and on arrival check-in at the hotel and relax. Afternoon visit Tirumala Nayak Palace - a gracious building in Indo ceramic style famous for the Stucco work on its domes and arches, an extensive museum dedicated to the life and work of Mahatma Gandhi and Mariamman Teppakulam tank. In the evening visit the great Meenakshi Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and attend the night prayer ceremony there. Goodnight's rest at Madurai.

Day 10: Madurai - Munnar (180kms/5hrs)
After breakfast drive through tea plantations and misty mountains to reach Munnar, a hill station of Kerala. Check-in at the resort and sweep off your travel tiredness. Later walk around the tea plantations and explore the hill station on your own. Goodnight's chill rest at Munnar.

Day 11: Munnar
After breakfast, take a sightseeing to Eravikulam National Park, Rajamala peak home to endangered species of Nilgiri Thar (mountain goats), Tea Factory, Mattupetty Dam (where speed boat ride will be available), Top Station and Echo Point. Evening is spent at leisure and Goodnight's chill rest at Munnar.

Day 12: Munnar - Periyar (130kms/4hrs)
After breakfast drive to Periyar, a place famous for spice plantations and wildlife sanctuary. Check-in at the resort and later proceed for guided spice plantation tour followed by 2hrs elephant package which includes 1hr ride and then bathing the elephant in the river, feeding it, watching the timber dragging process, command and communication, etc. In the evening, free time to explore the spice market. Day 13: Periyar - Kumarakom (140kms/4hrs)
Early morning enjoy boat ride in the lake to watch the panoramic view of the surroundings. After late breakfast, drive to Kumarakom and check-in at the beautiful backwater resort. Ayurvedic massage is available at the resort. Walk around the nearby village to mingle with the local people in the evening and have a Goodnight's rest at the resort in Kumarakom.

Day 14: Kumarakom
Day free to relax overlooking the backwater and engage in your own activities. Overnight stay at Kumarakom (no transport)

Day 15: Kumarakom - Alleppey (Houseboat)
The morning is spent at leisure in the resort. At 12.30pm private houseboat will reach the resort to pick you and for the backwater cruise among the narrow canals to reach Alleppey. During the journey you can visit ancient temples, churches, paddy fields and can watch the day to day activities of the local people who live nearby. In the evening, the boat will be anchored in a local village where you can go for a walk or do some fishing. Your crew will prepare delicious Kerala food on board and will take good care of you. Have a peaceful sleep at the houseboat.

Day 16: Alleppey - Cochin (70kms/1.5hrs)
After breakfast, disembark the houseboat at Alleppey by 9.30am, from where you will be picked and transferred to the lovely heritage town of Fort Cochin. Check-in at the hotel and the day is free for you to explore the town on your own. Goodnight's rest at a hotel in Fort Cochin.

Day 17: Cochin
Today you will be visiting so many places. Jewish Synagogue, Dutch Palace, St. Francis Church, Santa Cruz Basilica, Indo Portuguese Museum and the Chinese Fishing Nets. In the late afternoon visit the Greenix cultural village and watch Kalaripayattu and Kathakali show. Goodnight's rest at Fort Cochin.

Day 18: Cochin - Bangalore (by flight) - Mysore (140kms/4hrs)
After breakfast drive to Cochin airport to board the flight to Bangalore. On reaching Bangalore you will be received by our representative and will be transferred to the lovely heritage town of Mysore. The day is spent at leisure and you can explore the place by yourself. Day 19: Mysore
Our executive will take you to the Mysore Palace, Jaganmohan Palace, St. Philomena's Church, Chamundi temple on top of Chamundi Hills and the Brindavan Garden. Goodnight's rest at Mysore.

Day 20: Mysore - Hassan (140kms/4hrs)
After breakfast drive to Hassan, enroute stop at Shravanabelagola to visit the gigantic statue of Gomteshwara built out of a single rock which is visible at a distance of 25kms. You will witness the master pieces of Hindu art in Chennakesava temple of Belur and the Hoysaleswara and Kedareswara temples of Halebid. Goodnight's rest at Hassan.

Day 21: Hassan - Hospet (330kms/7hrs)
After breakfast, have a long drive to Hospet. On arrival, check-in at the hotel and relax for the day.

Day 22 & 23: Hospet
Our executives will take you to Hampi, Vijayanagar Empire, palaces, temples and sculptures, the Virupaksha, Vittala and Hazara Rama temples, huge Ganesha and Narasimha images, the elephant stables, the Queen's Bath, carvings on the Ramachandra temple and Lotus Mahal. Goodnight's rest at Hospet after a long tiring day.

Day 24: Hospet - Badami (200kms/5hrs)
After breakfast drive to Badami, a place rich in Hindu and Jain cave temples and check-in at the hotel. Take sightseeing to the temples in Badami and have a Goodnight's rest at Badami.

Day 25: Badami - Pattadakal - Aihole - Badami (88kms)
After breakfast, get ready for a long day. Visit the great temples at and around Pattadakal and Aihole. There are around 125 temples in which you will visit some of the major temples like Durga temple, Lad Khan temple, Huchimalli temple, Ravalphadi Cave temple, Konti temple, Umamaheswari temple, Jain Meguti temple and the Buddhist temple. Day 26: Badami - Goa (350kms/8hrs)
After breakfast, drive to the lovely beach destination, Goa. Check-in at the beach resort and relax for the day. Goodnight's rest at Goa.

Day 27 till 29: Goa
These days relax in the beach and explore the North & South Goa temples and churches.

Day 30: Goa - Mumbai Departure (by flight)
Flight to Mumbai and we will wave you good-bye depending upon your international flight schedule.
